Other earth-friendly choices

Once you've made the switch to cloth diapers, there are tons of other wonderful eco-friendly choices you can make:

• Cloth pads: cloth menstrual pads are comfortable, reusable, and much prettier than plain old paper ones
• Cloth napkins: why use and throw away paper napkins when cloth ones are more functional and easy to wash / re-use?
• Unpaper towels: use and re-use these wonderful replacements for paper towels
• Laundry supplies: there are some great replacements for traditional laundry supplies like eco-friendly laundry soap, dryer balls, and wool wash
• Natural toys: let your child use his / her imagination and explore the world through natural wooden toys, waldorf dolls, playsilks, and i-spy bags
• Bath and body: there are so many amazing natural soap, body lotion, and shampoo choices out there. Why use store-bought?
• Other natural parenting items: There are other great natural parenting items that I wish I'd known about when my little ones were babies: nursing necklaces, swaddlers, nursing blankets, baby carriers
